5 Best Sites for Free Fonts
Everyone loves free fonts. Here are my favorite places to go to get my free font fix. At the end I will give a brief description on how to install the fonts for those that might not know.
1. dafant.com is an excellent source for free fonts. Organized well and has a lot of fonts to choose from.
2. fontspace.com has over 13,000 fonts to choose from.
3. fontstock.net is a clean site with a lot of fonts. Its simplicity is what I like the most.
4. 1001freefonts.com -- the name says it all. Lots of fonts and categories.
5. urbanfonts.com has wide variety of categories to choose from.
That short list should keep you busy for some time. They are all treasure troves of free fonts.
Now, here is how you install them.
1. Download the font.
2. You will need unzipping software such as Cam UnZip (free).
3. Unzip the files to your desktop.
4. Then go to Control Panel >> Appearance and Personalization >> Fonts.
5. Drag and drop the font from the desktop into the fonts folder.
